Pro and Family aren’t on sale yet, so the limits that separate them aren’t being applied. Until they are, a free account gets unlimited SafeMode rechecks and the complete privacy report, not the free-column figures above. We would rather under-charge than refuse you something you have no way to buy — this table describes the plans as they will work, and nothing here is withheld from anybody today.
Daily limits are defaults enforced server-side and may be tuned per plan. Family matches Pro’s engines with the highest limits and 100 GB of vault storage, and adds the shared family dashboard for your household.
Genuinely free
The Free plan is not a countdown. No trial, no card, no “verification” charge. Use the core tools indefinitely and upgrade only if you want more.
You’re always in control
Paid plans are handled by Google Play. Payment, receipts, renewals and cancellation are all handled in your Play account — NexGuard never touches your card.
Limits are transparent
Every plan’s daily limits and vault storage are stated up front and enforced on our backend, not guessed at by the app. You always know where you stand.
How this compares
The pricing model, not just the price
Consumer security software has a few habits that cost you more than the headline number suggests. Here is how NexGuard is structured, in the terms that actually determine what you pay.
The price you see is the price that renews
A common pattern in this category is a heavily discounted first term followed by a much higher renewal. NexGuard has one price: $9.99/month for Pro or $5.00/month billed yearly, and $19.99/month or $6.67/month billed yearly for Family. It renews at what it says.
Attached to your account, not a device count
Plans aren’t sold per device or per seat. What a plan sets is daily usage limits and vault storage — the numbers in the table above — enforced on our backend rather than trusted from the app.
Free means free, not a countdown
The Free plan has no expiry date, no card and no trial that converts. It’s a smaller version of the product, not a timer — which is why there’s no step in the flow where a hold appears on a card you never entered.
Monthly is a real option
Annual billing is cheaper, but it isn’t the only way in — you can pay monthly and stop whenever you like. Cancellation happens in your Google Play account, not by contacting us.

What a NexGuard plan does not include
Suites at a similar price often bundle these. We don’t, and each was a deliberate decision rather than a gap — a cheaper price for fewer things is only a fair deal if you know which things.

There is no step where we quietly place a hold on your card or start a trial that converts without your say-so. Because purchases run through Google Play, that step simply doesn’t exist in NexGuard.
